Restorative
Restorative yoga is a slow, gentle practice using props (bolsters, blankets and blocks) to prop the body up in poses allowing the whole body to enter and remain in a deeply relaxed state. An active rest practice, there is no muscle contraction in restorative yoga with practitioners relaxing fully in the stretch so that tension can slowly be released.
Restorative yoga enhances flexibility, deeply relaxes the body and aids better sleep by stilling the mind.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga Flow is a unique sequence of movements and postures which flow together creating heat in the body as well as peace of mind.
It is particularly suitable to those seeking to improve their strength, flexibility, health and general well-being.
Ashtanga
Ashtanga yoga is one of the more traditional styles of Yoga, established in Mysore, India. In contrast to more modern styles, it is a set series of postures, designed in a specific way to build strength & flexibility in the body progressively; each set of poses prepares you for what comes next in the series.
Special breathing (ujayii) is used, co-ordinated with movements, known as Vinyasa.
Heat is generated within the body, cleansing, purifying, and loosening the joints. Regular practice will lead to better health, flexibility, strength and stamina.
Ashtanga level 1 is a great place to start your Ashtanga practice or to refine the foundations of an existing practice. Expect some breathwork before moving into the Sun Salutations followed by a focus on the standing postures of the series. We move in a slower way than level 1-2 to allow students to focus on the foundations of the postures. Ashtanga yoga is practiced in a dynamic way, so some prior basic experience of yoga is beneficial
Ashtanga level 1-2 is an ideal class for those looking to improve an existing practice; allowing them to experience a rounded class of the key elements of the Ashtanga Primary Series. As this is a dynamic flowing class allowing students prior yoga experience is needed to benefit from this class. If you are new to Ashtanga, you might like to try Ashtanga Level 1 to learn the foundations of the practice before Level 1-2.

Yin
Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasise internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.
While initially, this style of yoga can seem quite passive, or soft, yin practice can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses. We can remain in the postures anywhere from one to twenty minutes!
Yin and yang tissues respond quite differently to being exercised. You need to experience this to really know what Yin Yoga is all about.
Warm Yin
Warm Yin yoga is a meditative class in a room tempered at 25˚. Like other forms of Hot yoga, Warm Yin yoga is practiced in a heated room but is a bit cooler than most Hot yoga classes. And, like regular Yin yoga, Warm Yin yoga practice includes fewer postures, which the yogi holds for three to five minutes or more in an effort to release deep tissues, fascia, ligaments, joints and bone.
