Andrew Buivydas

Yoga Instructor
I discovered yoga in 2015 through my friend Amy, during a time when I was working in the
hospitality sector. Long, unsociable hours and a lifestyle filled with late-night socialising had
left me feeling unbalanced and unhealthy.
I began practising at Init Yoga in the Docklands, Dublin, a studio that sadly no longer exists.
From my very first class, I was hooked. Yoga challenged me physically and mentally, but
more importantly, it brought a sense of balance into my life. It sparked a transformation I
never thought possible, leading me toward a more mindful and meaningful way of living.
Not before long, I realised I didn’t want to be just a student. I wanted to deepen my practice
and share this powerful experience with others. In 2017, I completed my 200-hour
RYT training at Init Yoga.
My goal is to make yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or ability. My
teaching style has been described as authentic, inclusive, and non-judgmental, always
respecting individual limits.
I teach Vinyasa Flow classes that blend strength and mobility. Expect to move, sweat, and
breathe deeply.
My hope is simple: that you leave the mat feeling grounded, uplifted, and inspired.
See you on the mat.
