Andrew Buivydas
Yoga Instructor
I discovered Yoga through my friend Amy in 2015. At the time, I was working in the
Hospitality sector. Working long unsociable hours and indulging in late night socialising, it
was a vicious cycle. I was certainly living a very unbalanced and unhealthy lifestyle.  Â
Â
Initially I was practicing in Init Yoga in the Docklands, Dublin. Sadly this yoga studio no-
longer exists. I fell in love with yoga instantly, I enjoyed testing my physical and mental limits.
More importantly, yoga gave me a sense of balance and transformed me in ways I didn’t
think was imaganable. I started living a more mindful and meaningful life.Â
I quickly realised that I didn’t want to be a just student of yoga I wanted to learn more,
to deepen my yoga practice and share my passion for yoga with others. As such, in 2017 I
completed 200hr RYT yoga teacher training.Â
I then began teaching at Init Yoga and I also had the privilege to teach at other yoga studios
in Dublin such as Boss Hot Yoga and Hot Yoga Studios Dundrum. To continue developing I
also attended various workshops internationally. I had set out to open my own yoga studio in
2020, but the world had a different plan.
My goal is to make yoga accessible for everyone, at any level. My teaching style has been
described as authentic and non-judgmental, accepting of individual limits.Â
My classes combine both strength and mobility work in a Vinyasa Flow style. You can expect
to move, sweat, and breathe.Â
My only hope is that my students leave the mat feeling inspired.

See you on the mat
