Jane Feighery

Yoga Instructor

Jane Feighery is a teacher and student of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. She is a passionate believer in our infinite potential to heal and transform ourselves and has seen how yoga can play a powerful role in our journeys towards our true selves.  Having experienced the benefits of yoga as a means of counterbalancing a fast-paced, demanding career in tech and social entrepreneurship, Jane is committed to sharing these grounding, nourishing and reenergising practices to support her students in stilling their minds and strengthening their physical, mental and emotional resilience.  Jane completed a 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa YTT in 2015 with John Scott and Lucy Crawford, and has since gone on to complete further teacher trainings, qualifying with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in Yoga Nidra and Well Woman Yoga in 2016 and 2017, and completing 100-hour Yin Yoga teacher trainings with Bernie Clarke and Biff Mitthoefer in 2017 and 2018 respectively. In 2019 Jane completed Terry Cockburn’s Functional Elements of Yang Yoga Teacher Training and has over the last three years moved towards a functional alignment approach in her teaching of both Yang and Yin styles. Jane also completed Niamh Daly’s ‘Yoga for the Stages of Menopause’ training in 2021, and has since integrated the learnings from this comprehensive course into each class she teaches. While maintaining a daily Yang practice as an essential ingredient to her wellbeing, Jane has over the last number of years become more and more drawn to the softness, stillness and surrender of Yin Yoga as the perfect antidote to the striving, goal-obsessed world in which we live. Jane’s teaching of Yin Yoga focuses on inviting students to embark on an inward journey and to approach their bodies, minds and hearts with gentleness, acceptance and surrender.
