Amy Charlie Savory

Yoga Instructor

Amy Charlie found Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurveda when she was dealing with anxiety and depression. After feeling overwhelmed with the stress of working in a global fast-paced fashion company as a manager for 5 years they were invaluable to her recovery and wanted to share these tools to help people.

Following a love for Yoga Amy went to India for 6 months on a solo trip.

She qualified there in 2015. She picked the Yoga Teaching course as it was run by an Ayurvedic

doctor. While in India she also trained in Buddhist meditation for 3 months. She has continued to study Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda ever since.

In Amy's classes, you will explore the Philosophy of Yoga and Ayurveda, as well as flowing through the poses. It's the Philosophy of yoga that is where real yoga begins as you start to take this off the mat.

In our classes we will work on:

-Breathing techniques (pranayama)

-Mudra (hand posture)

-Mantra (chanting)

Amy aims to work with all 8 limbs of Yoga during her classes making them more than just exercise.

Amy Charlie completed her studies in Ayurveda making her an Ayurvedic Lifestyle and Nutrition Advisor at the Ayurvedic Insitute. London. She is now training to be an Ayurvedic Practitioner giving her the ability to prescribe Ayurvedic Medicine to help with a wide range of issues from IBS, Depression/Anxiety, Skin Conditions and Arthritis to name a few.

She has studied 450 hours of Yoga Teacher Training having just completed an Advanced Practitioners Course with David Curtis here in Ireland, Dublin.
