Anna’s passion for other cultures has taken her around the world- In Thailand she trained at the “Wat Po Medical School” in the Healing Art of Traditional Thai Therapy. She is granted all rights of Reiki Master, practitioner and teacher. Holistic healing is a form of alternative health care which is
complementary to the traditional Western Medicine practices. It integrates the whole person in the healing process: body, mind and spirit.

All things in the natural world move in a dynamic balance with the innate tendency toward equilibrium. But throughout our lives we acquire bad habits of movement and alignment and that is when we begin to experience a whole range of physical problems, e.g. shoulders slump, the back muscles become continually tense causing headaches and neck problems and joints become stiff. In addition to that the human body holds thought patterns and emotions –fears and desires. When repressed and unexpressed, these emotions and thoughts may lead to stress and illness (dis-ease). In this state true relaxation becomes impossible as does peak physical performance of any kind.

True balance can be achieved through an “unlearning” of old habits that allows the body, mind and spirit to remember and return to its natural state of balance and freedom from stress.

The therapies that Anna offers (Reiki & Traditional Thai Massage) stimulate the body’s own ability to heal itself, enhancing balance, clarity, and health at all levels. They seek to alleviate the high levels of stress which are part of the demands of today’s busy work environments. They promote relaxation, better sleep and boost the immune system. Her healing methods encourage individuals to develop a sense of serenity and calm in an ever changing world.

How many sessions will I need?
That depends on the person and their life at that moment. Treat yourself with one session or if you would like to target a physical dis-ease within the body then a series of sessions over a number of weeks would be advisable. For stress relief, approximately 4 sessions over 6 weeks.
